Is it ever okay to pretend you are something you are not? Explain.

Holden asks Sally to run away with him to a cabin, almost like wanting a fresh start. Where would you go to make a fresh start? Would you go far away, or stay right here? Why?

As a mom, when I read about Holden, I think he needs to be comforted. I would cook him a meal full of "comfort foods" to make him feel better. If someone could do that for you, what would be the "comfort food" you would want, and why?

Holden mentions music, and how it makes him feel. He also talks about Phoebe and her interest in music. How about you? What role does music have in your life?
