In some ways Holden is a pacifist but in other not. When he is in a fight with any one he never really fights back against the person. In other ways he not because he seams to try get hit and when he dose he never cleans him self up after

I dont think Holden is a pasifist at all because he gets into a fight with stradlater without being provoked. Also after the fight he was a little proud of himself, and liked that he had blood on him.
